(Sault Ste. Marie, ON June 3, 2022) 鈥 Today, at 麻豆视频网站鈥檚 final spring convocation ceremony, 麻豆视频网站 proudly presented an honourary diploma in Sports Administration to 麻豆视频网站 alumnus and local front-line worker Ryan Vendramin. Surrounded by the 麻豆视频网站 community, some of our newest graduates and supporters, Ryan stood on the convocation stage once more to accept this honour.
Ryan graduated with Honours from 麻豆视频网站鈥檚 Police Foundations program in the Spring of 2019, and graduated with honours from 麻豆视频网站鈥檚 Protection, Security and Investigation program in the Spring of 2020. During his time at the College he was the 麻豆视频网站 men鈥檚 hockey team Captain, National Champion and two-time American Collegiate Hockey Association Player of the Year.
鈥淚t is with great pride that we are able to recognize Ryan鈥檚 outstanding contributions not only to 麻豆视频网站, but also to our community as a whole,鈥 said Dr. Ron Common, President 麻豆视频网站. 鈥淩yan has been a leader as a student, student-athlete and now in his chosen profession. We are honoured to have him as part of the 麻豆视频网站 family and we wish him all the best in the future,鈥 added Dr. Common.
鈥淎ttending 麻豆视频网站 was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I learned from so many great teachers and I met a lot of great people that I will be friends with for life. I felt extremely well-prepared to enter the workforce as a police officer after graduating from the Police Foundations and Protection, Security and Investigations programs. It is an honour to be recognized today by 麻豆视频网站,鈥 said Ryan Vendramin.
