In this course, students learn the basics of nursing research, and the value for selecting an emergent qualitative
methodological approach to investigate areas of nursing inquiry. The intent of the course is to aid students in becoming
competent consumers of nursing research by understanding how qualitative research findings can be applied in their
nursing practice.
